Thalasso Expands Regional Engagement Across the Caribbean and the ZONE

Thalasso’s vision as an industrial producer of high-value compounds and additives derived from sargassum has resonated across the Caribbean and the wider region we call the “ZONE”.

Since April, we’ve had constructive discussions with the governments of Antigua and Barbuda, The Bahamas, Barbados, Belize, Brazil, Florida, Jamaica, Mexico, Panama, and Trinidad and Tobago regarding the region-wide economic crisis caused by the infestation of sargassum across pristine tourism beaches.

Thalasso’s mobile biorefinery system addresses the challenge of disposing of the large volumes of sargassum piled daily on beaches and helps prevent the unexpected problem of sand erosion.

These discussions are expected to bring our biorefineries far and wide across the ZONE in the coming months.
