Over the past four months, Thalasso has been relatively quiet as we have focused on strengthening the company, refining our strategy, and building the foundation for the next phase of growth.
On March 27, Thalasso appointed Steven Keays as CEO and Founder Frode Stolen Sønstebø as Commercial Director. These appointments form the core of a strengthened leadership team that now also includes dedicated Directors overseeing Finance, Operations, Logistics, and Technology.
Together, this team has developed a renewed vision for the company and its future.
Thalasso is positioning itself as an industrial producer of high-value bio-based ingredients, specialty compounds, and biomaterials derived from sargassum, transforming an environmental challenge into sustainable products for multiple industries.
Our immediate focus is the completion and deployment of our first mobile micro-biorefinery for the processing of sargassum into high-value products.We look forward to sharing our progress in the months ahead.
